Kathy's Daily Steps to Overcome Dysfunctional Behavior

Step one - Identifying your own dysfunction

Recognizing the emotional toll it took on me and the relationships I lost has allowed me to pinpoint my dysfunctional behavior.

Step two - Do something about it

Once you recognize your dysfunctional behavior, you become more aware of it and can hold yourself accountable. Although it can be challenging and even self-deprecating at times, acknowledging past mistakes and committing to change is a crucial step towards growth.

Step three - Find Support

Embracing technology and therapy to overcome emotional pain.

In today's world, technology and social media provide us with easy access to

resources that can assist us in overcoming emotional pain and triggers. However, it's equally important to seek professional guidance, such as therapists or life coaches. In my book, I share how these tools helped me through my own struggles, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of support.

Step four - Create new Armor

I replaced the armor of shame and fear with the armor of our righteous God.

The boundaries that I created to protect myself are a lot different than

the boundaries I used all my life.

Step five - Give all your love and compassion to the NEW you

Daily Intention-Setting for Personal Growth

Start each day with the intention of being a better version of yourself than yesterday. Remember to forgive yourself for any mistakes that may arise; self-grace is essential. Celebrate your achievements with a high-five and affirm that you are worthy and complete. Above all, live each day with love and forgiveness,
